I have such images of the Wizard of Oz. The movie starts black and white but then changes to color. You have Agnes riding a bike with a basket and a dog that looks similar to Toto but dies. The characters are people from Dorothy life but don't remember who they are just like this show. The ruby red slippers remind me of Wanda's red energy balls. In the Wizard of Oz, the Wizard uses those puff of smoked to try to hide. I don't know, lots of connections to me. Plus the question was always, was Dorothy dreaming Oz so probably Wanda is too

If they are using this as a medium for incorporating the X-men (and other Fox owned characters) then it makes me appreciate what they are doing all the more. As opposed to just cranking out an X-men movie or show, they are taking the time to explain why they have not been present. This shows how Marvel is treating their stuff as a big universe, and not just a series of isolated projects.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already, but in Dottie’s house, the scene before Wanda gives birth, there is a lamp with two children that appear to be boys, on standing slightly behind the other...foretelling the expected birth of her twins. There’s also a painting on the wall that could be interpreted to be the fires of hell.

I feel like the use of Daydream Believer (referred to as Sleep Jean by you) by The Monkees was a lot more of an interesting thing to use then you give it credit for. If you know the short history of The Monkees you probably have heard that they didn’t play there own instruments and were a manufactured boy band for a 60s sitcom (already something connected to the show), now that is only partly true. After their first two albums members Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork fought against the producers and the band was allowed to actually record and write their own songs. The song used in the series Daydream Believer is on their album The Bird The Bees And The Monkees which was their last album released while they were still on their sitcom The Monkees, and it was one of the albums to actually feature the band playing their own instruments and writing their own songs. After the release of this album and this song the band would release the album and film “Head” directed by Jack Nicholson which shows a more accurate side of the real Micheal Nesmith, Mickey Dolenz, David Jones and Peter Tork as apposed to the polished sitcom band featuring Mike, Mickey, Davy and Pete which coincides with Monica leaving the sitcom world and entering the real world. That was just my interpretation of the use of the song, yes i doubt they were actually thinking this through when they put it in the show i just thought it was interesting food for thought.

No offence but your take that the first two eps were "meh" and you like ep 3 cos get exposition is everything wrong with comic book fans. We are having something different, a slow burn leading to a big change. If you want another comic book film, go and watch one. Also a lot of these breakdowns don't make any sense. The doctor can't go to the Bermuda triangle (also known as the Devil's triangle - aka mephisto's trianle) because he is already there. He is trapped just like many of the other characters. The presence of the Stork is interesting as well. The stork has long been viewed as a symbol of birth and new life. Some say that mephisto is the stork because of the way the red smoke looks. In the comics Wanda uses her own mutant magic to cause the pregnancy. But If Mephisto is the stork in this reality then does that mean his magic is responsible for her pregnancy? Also, in the comics, Mephisto's soul was fractured during a confrontation with Franklin Richards. It was later revealed that Wanda's twins were actually portions of Mephisto's own fragmented essence and there is a series about how he manipulates a character by the name of Master Pandemonium to get them back. Is that why there is conflict between Wanda and the Stork (aka mephisto) during this scene? Is mephisto using his magic to speed up her pregnancy so he can get the twins faster? The fruit symbolism is interesting too. Fruits are often a symbol of abundance, associated with goddesses of fertility, plenty, and the harvest. So perhaps it was a foreshadow for her twins. I also thought it was interesting that monica rambeau's character got excited about the fruit and picked the apple. Another Biblical reference? Monica's character gained knowledge that Wanda was pregnant after eating the Apple. And then Wanda (the creator of this world) expels Monica from her world. Monica's sword necklace is an upside down cross?
