"How to waterproof your hand." Done. It already ACTIVELY controls its own water permeability. Also, you clearly do not know physics well. You would make a fun entertainment for one hour, but your science is really bad. Please never try to be a teacher.

I remember watching a “Mr. Wizard’s World” on Nickelodeon in the 90’s where he dusted the top of an aquarium filled with water and dropped a bolt in it. He reached for the bolt, and his hand was dry. Mind blown. Thank you for doing this because for the past 30 years, I’ve been wondering how he did that.

I don’t know if you have ever heard of a summer camp called “mad science” but we did all kinds of stuff like this, soap and water, dry ice stuff, robotics, general learning about science, that the only reason I knew what plasma was, cause we had one of those plasma ball things so we could learn an electricity.

I really enjoy your videos, and I noticed some of your captions have minor errors and wanted to help adjust them so that people with hearing impairment can enjoy your videos and understand them accurately. For instance, at 7:39 the caption reads ”it’s coming up to divine” but it should be “It’s becoming a tube of water”. I have created a list of other corrections if you are interested. Thanks, Porter (8th grade)

I wish schools had a system where they had their normal curriculum but on a certain day like every Friday, all the teachers find a topic to teach using real world problems/phenomena, like how mark does his science classes, so for example, geography class or history class would talk about an embarrassing or funny/interesting moment is U.S or world history, or a crazy place that defies all logic, and is mysterious like the place called the devils hole or something like that that has a hole in the water like a waterfall in the middle of a lake for unknown reasons. It would help keep students interested and enjoy school more. I know I would.

Mark - my daughter and I love your videos - they are so great and educational. One small thing - the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 is an RNA virus - it has no DNA. The RNA strand gets into the host cell and is transcribed into proteins that then replicate the virus. Blow this up so Mark can see it.

Weight = mass X gravity Mass= density x volume. So shrink wrap an astronaut to make a mold. Fill that mold with ketchup. Measure the amount of ketchup to give you volume. Use the average density of a person multipled by the volume you just pumped out of the shrink wrapped person to give you mass. Multiply that by gravity and BOOM! Your answer will probably be wrong. It is a trick question you just use a cosmic scale.
