I did it one time, I arrived literally before the last one in the race, and we were about 3600 runners 😂😂, i can't tell you in how much pain I was all the week after, couldn't even seat, going to the toilet 😂, had to sleep without moving.... But it was a memorable feat.

I decided to row a marathon with no training. I got up at 6, went to the gym and planned to be in and out in 3 hours then go to morning lectures. Was on track for 2:55, but after the 2 hour mark I completely broke and ended up getting 3:09. With 14k to go I let go of the handles and the skin on my hand just ripped apart and my water bottle had ran out ages ago. Tbh I didn't realise how mentally weak I was, but I was broken by the end of that. Didn't go to lectures that day in the end

As someone who grew up not liking physical activities, running somehow became one of the most crucial parts of my life. Running is truly a mental sport, you're on your own with just your thoughts and you feel every part of your body working together. One of my cross-country coaches would always say "pain is temporary but pride is everything." And honestly, just chanting that over and over again has helped me through so many aspects of my life, and also, "keep moving forward" from the Meet the Robinsons. Idk, your videos always leave me feeling better and motivated. Honestly, with marathon running, you don't need training whatsoever, you just need to start, and every step you take will lead you to the finish line.

Just finished my first marathon, with a broken arm, and no training (I would have trained but couldn’t because of said broken arm). Raised over 2200 dollars for mental health awareness leading up to the race, and am still receiving donations. I was inspired by this video and Ammar, who showed me that anything is truly possible. I finished in 5 hours and 31 minutes. Thank you for everything Yes Theory, couldn’t have done this without y’all 💙

I consider this video more as entertainment than inspiration. If the author intends to inspire people I just can shake my head. Every year I observe a growing amont of people "running" marathons without having the knowledge how to do so. Like in some gyms these people don't know what they are doing to their bodies. And videos like this increase this problem. First of all: You can't RUN a marathon without proper preparation. Even the fanciest gadgets and supplements can't replace training. In this dicipline not even if you "just" want to finish. The reason is very simple: joints, tendons, muscles and metabolism aren't ready to romp through this enormous work load. And here is the problem: Depending on how fit your untrained body is for long runs the injuries to the decriped body parts are severe. That's why I always say: To run a marathon in a desired time isn't hard, if the training was efficient. Because an efficient training is the hardest part. Requiring more discipline, blood, sweat and tears than deciding to harm your untrainied body.

This is complete nonsense! Anyone can say yes to running a marathon with no training and then not run it. Why are you and lots of others saying you ran it when, demonstrably, you didn’t. Completely self-indulgent and pointless unless you consider stumbling along a marathon racecourse stopping whenever you lacked the strength and/or determination a worthy feat.

After watching this video last December, it made me want to do it. With running maybe twice a week (1-2miles) I told myself I was going to attempt the half marathon. With everyone around me calling me crazy, it pushed me harder than I’ve been pushed before. With only 2 1/2 weeks of training, I tried it. Not only was it the most mentally challenging and psychically exhausting thing ever, I finished the half marathon at 2:02:02. I want to thank you all for being such a huge inspiration to myself throughout this whole process, coming across that finish line was the best feeling in the entire world. Sincerely, a fellow subscriber

Wait, this is so fake. Am I the only one who sees it? How can someone w/ 0 training run the marathon w/ minimal to no sweating? How are you able to run 5+ miles and keep a steady voice? it's physically impossible to run the entirety of a marathon with 0 training. This is so disappointing.
