Lol what Lakers fans fail to realize is terrible officiating won them the game. Just admit it was rigged (we all know it was), there’s no shame in speaking the truth. People continue to bring up “they should’ve won game 7,” and that’d be fair to say if the Kings lost by their own fault, but unfortunately the refs wanted to be the ones to do it. Gotta protect the golden child’s: Kobe and Shaq; I’m not even a Kings fan, but it’s so funny watching people wanting to ignore blatant facts because it harms their favorite player or team’s legacy.

  91. Ericツ

    Ericツ2 ヶ月 前

@Oliver Dennis It’s supposed to be a sports league first before business. We know that if you don’t have a good product, then it doesn’t matter what business avenues you take (look at the WNBA). The problem arises when the NBA knows that people will watch more if big market teams are playing. That in and of itself, provides an incentive for officials to change the outcome of games, in favoritism to that team. The pivotal Game 6 of the 2002 WCF was an excellent example of the egregious and unruly officiating in the sport of basketball. The point I’m making here, isn’t that Shaq and Kobe Lakers’ weren’t a good franchise, it was the fact that the refs extended a series that would’ve been finished had they not overstep their boundaries with bias calls against the Kings.

  92. Oliver Dennis

    Oliver Dennis2 ヶ月 前

Despite us loving the NBA, you have to realise it’s a business, then a sports league, btw it’s not only the calls, you can’t just forget that Shaq was clutch, he hit way more free throws than expected.

  93. Ericツ

    Ericツ2 ヶ月 前

@joesakic91 Obviously, the Kings had a chance to take game 7, but when down in the count in OT there are no need to blows calls against you. Kobe and Shaq were a great duo (there’s no denying that), and had a great team, but don’t sit here and think they were some gods that could do no wrong. Every team gets their fair share of calls here and there, but this was more than just a fair share. The refs pick up at which the Lakers failed to, completely shifting the outcome by the amount of calls that were racked up; that’s not how officiating is supposed to work.

  94. Ericツ

    Ericツ2 ヶ月 前

@joesakic91You definitely are pressed because you can’t view reality or facts thereof. Pivotal game 6 was rigged by the refs; if you’d actually watch the tape, you’d see how egregious and unnecessary some calls were. Adding to the fact the Lakers shot a monumental amount of free throws in the dying seconds of the game to save their team; this allowed LA to tie up the series and win in SAC.

  95. joesakic91

Yes, Leonard and Thompson have had better careers since then, but hindsight is 20/20. At the time, Fredette was seen by pretty much everyone as the future of scoring in the NBA, and it wasn't the Kings' fault they got sucked into the hype. Plenty of other teams would have done the same. Plus, Fredette actually looked good over substantial stretches in Westphal's system, it was when Westphal got fired that he started being terrible.

Finally a chance for you guys to whine about the Kings-Lakers series, again. Jesus Christ. Maybe next you could mention that you're a Knicks fan for no reason, again.

Everyone knows that Lakers and Kings series was over in 5games. How fitting replay came that next year. Kobe (R.I.P.)elbows Bibby and foul is on Bibby. And Horry hits winner in game 4. But Samaki Walker 3 right before half; Kings still win that clearly should not have counted. Enough said.

@Pablo Escobar So what? The Sacramento Kings still had the lead for most of Game 4 of the 2002 WCF and all they had to do to grab one rebound on the final play and win and go up 3-1. The Kings didn't when Vlade Divac slapped the ball to Robert Horry with nobody guarding the three-point line and Horry got a good look to nail it to make it 2-2. Pat Riley said it best, "No rebounds, no rings." Game 6? Sure, the Lakers had 40 free throw attempts in Game 6, but they still have to make them, which they did going 34/40. Game 7? The Kings bricked going 16/30 from the FT line and 2/20 from downtown. 2003? The Kings were better and deeper, but Chris Webber tore his lateral meniscus in his knee in Game 2 against the Mavs and lost in 7. Also, Rick Adelman and the Greatest Show on Court Kings were 0-5 in winner-take-all postseason games including 0-3 in Game 7s. Yep, the Kings choked. Meanwhile, other teams are passing them by including the Golden State Warriors to win NBA titles. Sacramento Kings: the New York Jets of the NBA and and snakebitten since 1951.

Look you say that they choked. But here are some facts. Samaki Walker hit a half court 3 that clearly wasn't even close to being good. And what do you know they, since the next season after they have instant replay. Kings were up 3to1. And won game 5. Would've been over. Referee admits remember?😉😂 and game six was a clear example of calls in favor of. You cant choke when you were dead from the start. KINGS FOR LIFE. I LIVE AND BREATHE SACRAMENTO. IN MY ENVIRONMENT LOVE FOR THE TEAM IS REAL. MEN GET DROPPED FOR HATTIN. ITS SAD BUT TRUE.

@Pablo Escobar But the Kings still choked the 2002 WCF series away. And also wasted their best chance in 2003 when Chris Webber tore his meniscus. Now, they're mumbling, 'that should've been us' when their NorCal rival, the Golden State Warriors, beat them to the punch for NBA titles in 2015, 2017 and 2018.

I cant believe I'm saying this, but I believe the next video needs to be how LeBron returned home, he and the Cleveland Cavaliers won an nba title, then collapsed. Kevin Love and Tristian Thompson I believe are both in the final years of their contracts, and are the only pieces of that 2016 championship team left. I'm a Cavs fan, and it was heartbreaking to see the collapse happen the way it did.

Pls do a 2000s/10s Phoenix Suns collapse, Sixers collapse post 2001, a Sonics collapse after the 1996 finals, a 90s Orlando Magic collapse or the post-Dwight Howard Magic collapse, or an older collapse like the post-Wilt Sixers :)

Jesus says in John 6:47 "verily, verily I say unto you, he that believes in me has everlasting life." Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah, he died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day after his burial, so that all who believe may have everlasting life. Whoever believes in Jesus to to save them from hell has everlasting life in heaven.
