Pretty sure the auger lasted about ten more seconds after the video cut. I was hoping he was going to use it to power a little boat or something.

Totally AMAZING!!!.... that these people keep being allowed to upload CRAP like this. It is NOT a "homemade tool" if it is a copy of a gadget you can buy in almost any hardware store! Thumbs down.

Dude ur a good handyman, with some ok tools. But I do think it maybe time to invest in a vise, seeing you with that grinder, & the loose shirt. Then with the hole saw. But nice vid. Question how come you didn't put some handles on the unit. Later Gater..

Only trouble was you had to dig the hole first and sieve the earth in it... you didn`t have to be a genius to see that that wasn`t going to cut the mustard!

I have a really good feeling that this would be much better for drilling an ice fishing hole. If you're parking on the ice, you already have your car battery out there. Or you just sled it out to the middle of the lake with the rest of your gear. I think it's a good tool, but couldn't wait for winter to finish his video.

Too much speed. Too little torque. Nice try, but it's a "No" from Judge Simon Cowell. Back to the drawing board. I'm sure the inventor was entertained, but he could have rented an auger from Home Depot and been done in 1/4 the time
